Accessibility Statement
QCS wants this information hub to be usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we do
- A "Skip to content" link as the first item on every page
- Semantic headings and landmarks so pages can be navigated by structure
- Service status shown as text alongside colour, never by colour alone
- Status updates announced to screen readers as they load
- A layout that adapts to small screens and browser zoom
Known limitations
- The 90-day status bars are a visual summary and are hidden from screen readers. The current state of each service is available as text in the same row.
- Some linked third-party sites, such as Medium and GitHub, are outside our control and may not meet the same standard.
Feedback
If you run into an accessibility barrier on this site, please tell us by opening an issue on GitHub. Let us know the page, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology you were using.
